Allow the install
Settings, Security, and allow your browser to install apps. Android also asks at the time, if you would rather answer when it comes up.
Download
Tap the button above, on the phone. If you are on a computer, use the code beside it.
Install
Open the downloaded file and tap Install. It takes a few seconds.
Sign in and grant permissions
Sign in with the same Google account as the platform. The phone appears on your dashboard with the online status.
SMS
Send and receive. This is the whole product, without it there is nothing.
Contacts
Optional. Only to import names; you can refuse and carry on.
Notifications
To tell you when a reply arrives or a send fails.
Turn RCS chats off
In your phone's messaging app, turn RCS chats off. With RCS on, Android stops delivering messages as SMS and conversation syncing stops.
Don't trust, verify. These two values let you confirm the file is ours and that any future update is legitimate.
