Sign in at droidsender.com with Google. The Connect a phone page opens.
Scan the QR code
Point your Android phone's camera at the QR code on the computer and tap Download the app.
Install
Android shows a few warnings. On each one, tap the button the computer marks in red.
Type the code and allow
Open the app, type the 6-character code shown on the computer and allow what the app asks. The computer follows each step live.
SMS
Send and receive. Without it the phone cannot send or receive anything.
Read SMS
Confirms which messages were sent, and recovers replies that arrived while the app was off.
Notifications
The sending service needs a visible notification to stay running.
Work with the screen off
Without it Android puts the phone to sleep and messages stall.
Install updates
The app updates itself. Asked on Android 8 or newer.
Automatic start-up
Only on some brands. Lets the app start again on its own.
Contacts
Optional. Shows the name instead of the number in conversations.
Conversations already on the phone
Optional. Brings in the last two years of SMS already on the phone.
Turn RCS chats off
In the phone's messaging app, turn off RCS chats. An RCS conversation does not travel over the SMS network, so it never reaches the platform.
Don't trust, verify. These two values let you confirm the file is ours and that any future update is legitimate.
